box heads

As my final day in my 30 days of summer project i decided to use my box as the main object in each of the images by taking pictures of my family members with the box on their head. Also how i people can make out who each one is, can be done by looking at what thier doing in the image. here are my top 1:

what i like about this image the fact you cant see her face but you know who it is, why becuase everyone who knows katie is that she's always on her phone. furthermore i like the dullness off the image, but the colours all still contrast

Barrow bridge road

during the holidays while out with friends we went down to barrow bridge road, where thier is a small stream to walk through. here are my 2 favourite images from that day:
what i like about these 2 images is that they totally sum up barrow bridge road as it one long river which u walk past. furthermore what i like about the first image is the sense of movement in the from the stream also i like the fact that most of the colours in the image blend and dont really contrast with one another. what i like about the 2nd image is the contrast of the light tones and the dark tones and either side of the image, but thier is and uneven amont of light tones to dark tones in the image.

moss bank gardens

yesterday i went to moss bank park and found some interesting images to be taken in the gardens thier. here are what i thought were the best 2 from that day:
What i like about these pictures is that they are what the moss bank gardens are all about contrasting colour and nature. which i think these pictures show. what i like about the first image is the deep depth of feild and the strong colours in the image. finally what i like about the 2nd image is the shallow depth of feild and how you can see all the detail of the flower, furthermore they are very contrasting colour in the image

while out during the night i took a few images as i thought they'ed look interesting, so here are y top 2:

Why i have chsoen these 2 as my top 2 is that i think they both look great and really interesting to look at. what i like about the first one is the shallow depth of feild and how the road light form a pattern, furthermore the dark tones over shadow the lightones. what i like about i like about the 2nd one is the sense of movement you get in the image, why because how the low shutter speed and made thing blury. Also what else i like is how items in the image look reflective and glowie

At the grandparents

during this week i went to my grandparents house has it was my grandads 70th birthday, so i decided to get a few images while i was thier. Here are my favourites:

why i have chosen these has my top 2 is because they define my grandparents house, what i like about the first image is the fact that it looks like the dog is looking down on you from the top of the stairs. Also what i like about the next image is that it the first thing my nan will do when you step into her house is to offer a drink.

Day at the beach

during this week i went to the beach with some of the family but it started to rain and the beach had been shut. As the tide had come in. Here are some of the pictures from the day, i have picked my top 2:

why i have chosen these as my top 2 is becuase i think they both represent that day perfectly, why becuase it was wet cold and miserable. furthermore we couldnt go ont he beach as the tide had come in which can be seen in picture one has it has a keep out sign. what i like about picture 1 is that it look wet and miserable and then you get this bright keep out sign which makes it look dargerous. what i like about image 2 in that in the background you can see the peir, which it well known if you have been too blackpool before.

70th birthday

During the holidays i went to a 70th birthday party, Through it wasnt much fun i decided to get some images of the night. Here is my top image:

I dont think this is one of my best images i have taken over the holidays but its the best i did of the night while i was drunk. what i like about the image is that the image shows fun and happiness, also i think the images its quite dark and most of the colours in the image are not contrasting but blend.

My Area

i decided to take images of the place where i live, i took images of the streets, building and feilds of my area. Places i thought would make the most interesting images, here are my top 2:

Here are my top 2 images why i have chsoen these as my top 2 is becuase they define my area the most, why because we live right next to each of these and this is what my area is assocated with when people talk about it. what i like about the first image is the blacked out figure at the front of the image, furthermore i like all the contrasting colour in the image. What i like about the secound image is the darkness of the images which makes it looks miserable and dreary.

Last week while out with the parents i saw sceney, which i thought would be great images so i took a number of images. Here are my top one:

what i like about this image is that is quite eye catching, furthermore i think that the black and white effect makes the image look older then what it is. furthermore i think thier quite a lot going on int he image with allt he trees and building. furthermore i think their is an even amount of dark and light tones in the image from the sky and the land

blackpool pleasure beach

Went to blackpool pleasure beach today and took a few images of the day. Here i have picked the ones which represented the day the best. here are my best 2:

The lake

during last week while i was with the family we went to the lake in horwich, and here are some of my favourite puctures from that day. i have chosen my best 2 from the image i have taken:
why i have chosen these 2 as my favourites, is becuase first of all they both have great composistions and really show what the lake looks like, also they are both have very vivd colours which contrast with one another. furthermore i like how the water look reflective and maltelic.

walk about

last week i went for a walk in the forest near me with a couple of friends so i took some photos of this day. Futhermore decided to put the best on on here for all to see, here is my favourite image from that day:


what i like about this image is the pattern of trees in the image, furthermore the compostion of the photo makes the image look symmatical becuase of there being trees on each side. Also i like the shallow depth of field of the image where the further along in the image the more blury it gets. Finally how it has darker tones at the front and lighter tones further along

The castle

During this week i went to look at ruins of an old castle which i thought would make great images, here is my favourite

Why i feel this is best from all the images i have taken is firstly, the compostion of the image. furthermore how the light is shineing through the door, finally the i like how the black and white of the images make the image very contasting and outlines the strong vertical lines in the image

sky the limit

erm went out the other day, to go to the doctor and the sky caught my eye. i though it was very eye catching and stood out to me, and i thought it would make a great image here is my favourite image of it:

this has got to be one of my favourite images i have taken upto now on this project. what i like about it is how it looks kind of depressing and sad. but is very contrasting to the corner of the images which is bright and happy it looks like that trying to get throuh. furthermore ow the sky takes center stage as everything else is blacked out.

rainy day IN!!

This is my favourite image from today, as i stayed in all day as it was pouring it down. i decided to take pictures of the outside around my house which would show the horrible weather. Here is the image.

What i like about this image, is the how the colours of the image exaggerate the weather. Also i like how one corner of the image is full of light and bright which is in total contrast to everything else in the image

here are are few pictures from when i went food shopping, from a day in the summer holidays. here is my best image that a took.

why i i chose this to be the best image out of the bunch i had taken was because i the sense of cnsumerism in the images. from all the selves full of food, furthermore the contrast in colour thoughout the image. Finally i like how the boy is looking at the selves full of sweets.

travelling to london

through the summer i was travaling down to london to see my brother, wish we id quite a through times during the holidays. Here are my favourite 2:

these are the pictures taht i chose, which i tought were the best from that colection of images. Why i like these images is becuase it basically defines what i was doing through most of that day which was sat down looking out the window. While making my way down to london. also what elsei like about the image is the compostion of the images. furthermore i really like the pattern of raindrops in the first image

At Grans

Went to grands during the holidays, to see my gran. Here are my top 2 images from that shoot, also how i my top 2 was that i chose images that define my nan and her house.

here are my top 2 images that i chose from going to my nans shoot, i put the imagesin black and white becuase i like the effect that it gives to the image. Makes that look oldish, furthermore what i like about both the images is that im both images if has my nan smokeing whivh totally defines my gran to a T. Also i like the factthat in the first images i have took the images looking though a magnifying glass.

As i my brother is in the army i went to his passing out parade, which is techinacally a graduatetion from his part of his trainig and took a few images with my camera. here is my favourite image:

What i like about this image is the pattern in the image from white gloves to the guns and hats. firthermore they all remind me of robots as thier all in sync, and all doing the same thing.

tourist

These are some pictures i took while i was touring parts of england with friends and family, i took some images while on a skyline and walking. These are my favourite 2:



What i like abot these pictures is firstly the sens of mvement you get from the images, such as the skyline and the waterfall. Furthermore how the first image looks very secluded with all the tree. Also i like the contrst in colour in the secound image.

Alton Towers

These are a couple of pictures from the day i went to alton towers with family and friends, when taking the pictures i found that i have got some great compisitions in some of the picture. Here are my favourite 2:



what i like about these pictures is the vibrence of the colours, it shows that thier is a happy mood to the image and that the weather was great. furthermore they have a sense of movement in the images, to due the fact that their images of rides. also you get a sense of fun from the images.

builder

today i decded to take pictures of a bike i was building for my little brother, i thought that these images would be very interesting. If they were taken right, here are my favourite images:

what i like about these images is the patterns that are in the images. furthermore the light gives off how reflective the surface are. Also i like the sense of movement thier is in the images. fially i think these images are very interesting as these are man made objects and not naturally made.

Stuck in house while ill

i decided to take some pictures while i was ill and stuck in the house. So i took pictures of things i did or used while i was ill, these are my best 2 images. what i like about these 2 images is the darkness of the imeages which make them look how i felt that day, due to being ill. Also the pills hint towards me being ill. also you can notice that i have used my box in each of the images

THE BOX

For are summer projet we was given a box to use in the imges we take with are camera. so i decided to take some photography type pictures of my box. from different view points and angles, to make thebox look more interesting. here are the 3 images:

What i like about the 3 of these images is that they all show a different angle of the box, furthermore make the box look more interesting then what it actually is which is just a 'box'. Also i like the strong vertical and horizontal lines in the images. finally i like the dark dullness of the images it gives them a despressing feeling to the images, and it makes these boring boxes seem less boring.

i did another photoshoot for my personal space, and i have chosen this image as my best one from that shoot. why i believe this is the best image because it represents outside very well. also as this is my summer project the bright sun shows that its the summer. which the hand in the way proves that it bright and very hot. this i think makes the image more interesting as you think why is the hand in the way, so then you think "yes" it must be very bright and sunny. also i think that thier is a uneven amount of darkness and black. compared to light. but the light is so bright it evens it out

For my personal space i chose to photograph my back garden, why becuase i spend most of my time out here when im at home.what i like about this image is the fact i think it represents a garden quite well, as its a plant and its a vivd and colourful image. Also i like the deep depth of field of the image. Also i like the sense of space in the image. furthermore i think its gives of a happyiness as its bright and colourful.

photography (art&design) summer project

has just started the art and design summer project, got given a card borad box and now has to decide what to do with this box. it has to be creative, furthermore i have to document 30days of my summer. which im going to do this with photography and object from each of the 30days i document. this is going to be a long summer holidays lol.
