My Area

i decided to take images of the place where i live, i took images of the streets, building and feilds of my area. Places i thought would make the most interesting images, here are my top 2:

Here are my top 2 images why i have chsoen these as my top 2 is becuase they define my area the most, why because we live right next to each of these and this is what my area is assocated with when people talk about it. what i like about the first image is the blacked out figure at the front of the image, furthermore i like all the contrasting colour in the image. What i like about the secound image is the darkness of the images which makes it looks miserable and dreary.

Last week while out with the parents i saw sceney, which i thought would be great images so i took a number of images. Here are my top one:

what i like about this image is that is quite eye catching, furthermore i think that the black and white effect makes the image look older then what it is. furthermore i think thier quite a lot going on int he image with allt he trees and building. furthermore i think their is an even amount of dark and light tones in the image from the sky and the land

blackpool pleasure beach

Went to blackpool pleasure beach today and took a few images of the day. Here i have picked the ones which represented the day the best. here are my best 2:
here are my best 2, which i think represented the day the best. why i like the secound one becuase it shows fun and happiness, which is what i would use to describe the day. why i picked the first one and why i like it is becuase it show hight and which looks scarey and it a rides which is what blackpool pleasure beach is all about

The lake

during last week while i was with the family we went to the lake in horwich, and here are some of my favourite puctures from that day. i have chosen my best 2 from the image i have taken:
why i have chosen these 2 as my favourites, is becuase first of all they both have great composistions and really show what the lake looks like, also they are both have very vivd colours which contrast with one another. furthermore i like how the water look reflective and maltelic.

walk about

last week i went for a walk in the forest near me with a couple of friends so i took some photos of this day. Futhermore decided to put the best on on here for all to see, here is my favourite image from that day:


what i like about this image is the pattern of trees in the image, furthermore the compostion of the photo makes the image look symmatical becuase of there being trees on each side. Also i like the shallow depth of field of the image where the further along in the image the more blury it gets. Finally how it has darker tones at the front and lighter tones further along

The castle

During this week i went to look at ruins of an old castle which i thought would make great images, here is my favourite

Why i feel this is best from all the images i have taken is firstly, the compostion of the image. furthermore how the light is shineing through the door, finally the i like how the black and white of the images make the image very contasting and outlines the strong vertical lines in the image

sky the limit

erm went out the other day, to go to the doctor and the sky caught my eye. i though it was very eye catching and stood out to me, and i thought it would make a great image here is my favourite image of it:

this has got to be one of my favourite images i have taken upto now on this project. what i like about it is how it looks kind of depressing and sad. but is very contrasting to the corner of the images which is bright and happy it looks like that trying to get throuh. furthermore ow the sky takes center stage as everything else is blacked out.
